Webinar Recap: In-House Pro Bono Trends
A few weeks ago PBI hosted a webinar exploring developments within in-house pro bono. CPBO Director Eve Runyon moderated the panel, which included Royal Bank of Canada** Senior Counsel Alison Burton, Verizon Communications Inc.** Assistant General Counsel Celeste Como, Target Corporation** Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions David March, and Mayo Clinic** Immigration Counsel Chris Wendt.
The program discussed the recently released CPBO 2012 Benchmarking Report, which summarizes the results of a survey regarding in-house pro bono trends. The webinar included an overview of in-house pro bono and examples from the participants’ legal departments. The panel of in-house pro bono leaders discussed:
- program administration,
- insurance,
- partnerships,
- projects,
- global, and
- communication and recognition.
